This is going to deter new players.
Re: This is going to deter new players.
It's more of a shame, that there's no way.. we can help.. the devs with their ability to upgrade their servers. Ahem.

Re: This is going to deter new players.
That is EXACTLY how you stress test your code efficiency/hardware. Every time we play and experience server lag valuable information is being presented that can be used to reduce lag in the future. Best thing to do is stop making posts about it and keep playing.badlove wrote:The point of the alpha is to test things when the server is dying everyday at peak time not much testing is getting done by anybody.
Re: This is going to deter new players.
It sounds like a matter of just needing better server hardware.
Re: This is going to deter new players.
Do you really need to make a post to point out lag I'd bad?
I mean, did you really think that's an original idea or not painfully obvious to everyone.
Im being overly critical but this is like the 10th thread I've read where the OP had the unique idea to tell everyone that lag I'd unpleasant and will make people not want to play or tell the devs to fix it.
It just blows my mind that so many people think to themselves, hey I need to share my opinion that lag is bad with everyone else.

Re: This is going to deter new players.
As I said in the other thread ....
launch t3 . Restrict access to the T3 zones to lvl 26 + . That will split the the numbers of folks in one area . And that may gve ya the time ya need to get the lag under control before to many more folks get leveled up ..

Re: This is going to deter new players.
Seems to me like people just dont understand whats going on with development of the game. I have the impression quite alot of ppl think this is a newly developed game, where code is being written from scratch.
Just to clarify the game existed for many years, they're now sorting out the poor coding done by other people in large gaming companies. It's sort of a reverse engineering, and peak times are the best times to find out what's going wrong...
Be patient or be gone... simple really.

All I have to say is The Devs are doing there best. If it was not for them I'd be bored as heck. New folks are just gonna have to be patient.
Re: This is going to deter new players.
The thing about OPs comment is that the devs already know this. They stated as such saying how it became priority before opening t3 or any new content. I suspect that's what they're working on right now given the server dump

Re: This is going to deter new players.
PRO TIP: Play another game in peak time and play only at evening/night.
Re: This is going to deter new players.
begin to make a lvl restriction for t2 bracket 12-21 (tonight 1 RP lvl 1 slayer lvl 8 WP lvl 6 on t2 and there was more...) , and do same for t3 restriction bracket 22-31
