Nightly oRvR Roaming Group Recruiting

Hello!

I'm recruiting for a nightly (EST/US) open RvR (Occasional SCs) roaming group.



Classes we are currently looking for:

1 Dedicated Defensive Tank; You will be required to play both offensively and defensively. Your job will be to guard (Actively switching guard when needed, without having to be told) the backline and peeling for them. You also need to be comfortable with assisting and taking direction. Your primary job will be to help keep the dps and healers alive.

1 Dedicated Melee DPS; You will need to be able to assist quickly and hard switch targets when called (no tunnel vision). You will need to know when to push and when to get out, being mindful of your own HP bar. You need to be comfortable speaking up on VoIP when you see a kill target low (if the main assist hasn't noticed it). You need to have an understanding of good kill targets and bad ones, IE: No attacking defensive tanks, attacking unguarded squishies before guarded ones, ect. You must take direction well, react quickly to changing circumstances and generally have a good understand of your class and the classes your facing.


General Requirements:

Voip; You must use voip (we use mumble). I don't mean, that you have a mic, headphones and the voip downloaded. I mean your actively talking on VoIP, if your punted away from your guard/gaurdie I want to hear it. If your some how separated from the group, I want to hear it. If you notice we are getting flanked, I want to hear it. We are looking for players for actively communicate throughout the fights.


Level 26; We don't mind if your renown rank isn't high, you will shoot up in RR (You will get renown very fast) roaming with us. We can also help you get gear if your a good fit. Please be level 26 tho, we can help with the rest.


Know the game; A good general knowledge of the game, your class and other classes.


Willingness to learn, change; You need to be alright with talking about what we did wrong when we lose/die and how to improve on it next time, without becoming defensive. We all can get better


Playing with tools lol; Being alright with us talking about horrible subjects and generally being vulgar.


I spend too much time on this game; We all play a fair amount, we would like someone who can play most nights with us, because we play every night during EST/PST prime time, we would want to be able to depend on you too.


I'm watching you; Not minding being on Twitch, having your conversations being recorded on Twitch VoD. I stream on twitch nightly. Our tank (Bodyguard) also records most of the fights from his PoV and makes pvp videos, because it's his hobby.

Are there any Order premades running around that time these days?

The only order guild I saw that would put out consistent 6 mans every night at that time was nocturnal for a while, but they didn't seem to be tryharding much with a DPS WP. It's hard to get 6 decent people together consistently, esp at this timezone when the server is EU. A lot of Aussie/East Asians people have given up because of latency, which means it's mostly US during that time. Hopefully T3 will renew interest in the server for people.

Destro seems to have a big advantage at that time slot with suzus groups, critical acclaim, you guys, and DDOW started playing and have a 6 man almost capped? All order has is broken guild groups and the almighty pug gravy train.

Meh, that's what I was afraid of.

So perhaps we can form a pseudo alliance with some of those guys, in lieu of them being implemented officially, and harass the AvZergecetti if it's still blobbing around in a week when I get back

If not perhaps we will be forced to reroll easy mode Order just to get a fight, but I hope not

I think now that AAO is here, the order gravy train is really more of a gravy float for destro :^)

If you are looking for fights in SC's right now you will def have to play order, but I think T3 will change the landscape so much that I wouldn't bother rerolling or doing anything drastic until things settle down after release. A lot of people have just stopped playing and are waiting for T3.
