The only thing AoE BW/Sorc is good at is wiping half-afk'ers and mindless zergers at keeps.

yes res is much to easy i agree, perhaps the res debuff should be longer?

Your never going to see long duration massive CC ala DAoC. I'd love for it to happen, but it's just not going to.

You also have to rememebr, DAoC did have strong AoE....much stronger than here in fact. PBAoE from Ice Wizzies, Enchanters, Spirit Master would 2 shot people. It hit SOOO hard. You could Mez, speed into a stacked group zerg, PBAoE and drop them before they could react.

The PBAoE here is a really weak version of what it was in DAoC.

Every time someone comes up with a good tactic people scream out "OP!". The fact is that some players coordinate their play, use voice chat, etc. and others do not. The key to this game always has been team work. Those who log in and try to play solo are just fooling themselves or are willing to accept the solo game experience as is. You have the "bomb group" and the "melee train" and other strategies, which all have their weak points. But (all things being equal) determined, organized players that coordinate will always dominate those that try to play as a bunch of disorganized individuals.

though because neither /target nor /assist work. Bomb Groups are favored by nature...

1. I'm pretty sure the KOTBS AOE stagger is mirrored on Destro - see Chosen (Quake).

2. Order have the same pull as the Magus - see Engineer.

3. Order have the same CD increase - see Slayer (Shattered Limbs).
On top of that, the Squig Herder has to spec up the MELEE tree (LOL) to get this ability, which no Squiggy will ever do, unless he's havin a giggle m8. From memory, I think it also procs from your pets location, and not player location? Unless that got changed sometime on Live, but it was definitely pet specific at one stage.

4. Order have the same pull, yes it is a bit gimped and pet dependent - see White Lion (Fetch)

Not entirely sure what argument you're trying to make.

I agree this makes pugging a little trickier, but a good group on voice comms should be able to call targets and focus fire effectively.

calling targets is not the problem, getting that target in your target is (at least rdps/mdps wise).

Until fetch and pull are implemented properly and we can compare the 2 here in ror, we shouldnt make arguments about because az said that they will be implemented here much better than they were on live

When WAR was still open i had the amazing opportunity to roll with a Bomb Squad.

Was an Order guild named Winter is Comeing. They mostly ran very very small groups set up to destroy anything in our path. When we were running a group we were rolling with a group of 6 in T4.
Group was divided into 2 parts.
Frontline: KotBS,WP, and Slayer
Backline: KotBS, RP, BW

Frontline KotBS would swap guards from WP and slayer as needed and CC any unfavorable things that happened.
Backline KotBS (me) Had pretty much the same role.

We were a tough as nails group to crack and ended up with some truely mind blowing feats I can scarcely believe my self. The best example was in the empire vs destro map that contained Martyrs Square? We were roaming around looking for some gank OP's when our lead KotBS called for us to stop and hide behind a corner and be ready. Bout 10 seconds later a full destro zerg came around the corner our lead KotBS hit his mass lockdown BW ran in and blew everything he had, Slayer followed through with as much aoe as he could, I ran forward and nailed my lockdown and about 30 seconds later all 6 of us were the only ones left standing. Totaly was a perfect storm of luck that it played out that way but still one of my favorite memories of WAR.
