On live, in order to remove dyes from our armor, we had to buy bleaching agents for 30 Officer Medallions each. I've always disliked this implementation of spending RvR currency on something as simple as dye removal, so I'd like to make the suggestion to add a 'remove dye' option to the merchant dyeing screen.
Also the Pink for Tink vendors in Altdorf/IC could also be put to good use, by re-introducing the pink and purple dyes it used to sell. This way people can customise their looks even more, and not be limited to the current colour palette. It'd also make for a nice gold drain to fix the economy a bit.

You understand that adding a new option to a client menu requires modifying the client?

Re: Extra dye options
Can't you modify one of the existing dyes in the merchant menu to simply add 'invisble' dye? I remember from the dyes from drop from mobs that you could remove dyes instead of adding them, before they were fixed to add colour. You wouldn't have to add anything, just modify one dye (best choice would be one of the 'white' dyes, since there's 3-4 different varieties that don't have much difference) to add 'invisible' dye.Azarael wrote:You understand that adding a new option to a client menu requires modifying the client?

Re: Extra dye options
Changes that are made on the server end would not reflect on the client end, as the client has all the files that currently are set in what they do. Even if a white dye is changed on the server end to be something invisible, it would still appear to be white dye on the client, which would cause some confusion for players that expect white and get nothing instead. Before making changes like that, we need to be able to modify the client.
