WoH and H'B stacking is a counterexample to this, but to my knowledge this interaction and that of Flak Jacket / Daemonic Armor are the only ones where two linear stat modifiers which shouldn't logically stack do so, and both were well known.
Both are not the only buffs which stack.

On the warhammeralliance board was a nice summary about stacking behavior und the different kinds of buffs/debuffs, e.g. pbaoe, single/all resist/stat and more.
Sadly it is lost.
Dying is no option.

For buffs which affect the core stats and resists, this information can be found by viewing the client's character screen. For other types, it is lost.

Hmm that's interesting. I didn't remember if they did or not, I think I've been operating on the assumption that they do. It's actually a very good thing that they don't lol.

Also, doesn't .getstats do a pretty good job of summarizing stats? The only things I've seen it missing so far are like %modifiers from Infernal Gift, Distracting Bellow, etc.

Average duration of similar avoidance abilities is near 15s compared to 5s
Other avoidance abilities (even SMs) don't require you use them when you "need them"

(Example Crushing Advance that isn't required to be used every time it comes of CD to be up)
Yes and that has been my argument here. You have to use EF every 3rd global to keep it up. The opposing argument has been that it has no cooldown so you can spam it under pressure and not worry about shatters, and that you don't "need" to have the avoidance buff at all times. I guess on a lot of the other tanks, you get to have your cake and eat it too.

I don't agree with it, but we have finality from Azarael stating that he doesn't believe it warrants a change currently.

It was originally a debugging command for my use, showing linear stat modifiers from buffs. It doesn't show % modifiers by design.

az said that buffing EF ist worth it as it dosnt address the core issues that SM faces, what else is left to discuss?

better option would be to start a new thread to discuss how to improve SM's grp utility or the lack there of
