Auction searching

A while back the auction search function was changed so that it shows potions and talismans available as well as gear when you search by character class, is there any way to undo this change? if you run searches now using the by class option more than half the items appearing are potions and talismans and since it only shows a certain number of items you are missing out on seeing a lot of gear available for your class. The search options already include options to search for potions and talismans only but there is no way to exclude them from other searches. Could it go back to not including potions and talismans please? I know this is not a very important thing and I am grateful to all the devs for all the hard work put into this game and if this does not happen it will not effect my opinion of the game or the devs at all, I just think it would make searching easier for all players. Thanks you.

You can specify that you want to search for armor and/or weapons only as well, thus filtering out all the potion and talis.

I do know about all the other options for searching, but if you are searching by class, which is the main point I was making, and use your suggestion, click all the gear you want to be included you still get potions and talismans because any class can use them. It would be simpler to just have the potions and talismans show up when you want to search for them and choose the option to search for them, not for them to show up all the time when searching by class.

If you tick say Bright Wizard, staff and robe in the filters you will only see staffs and all pieces of armor usable by Bright Wizard, nothing less, nothing more.

I browse AH every single day to monitor prices on pots, talis, crafting mats and blue+ weapons and armors, and have yet to encounter any problems you describe. I even tried to replicate it on my end without any luck.
