Please allow ROR to be more BEAUTIFUL

First, thanks for ROR - its great pleasure to play this game again. Devs and all people participating in this project did outstanding job :)

I'm very happy with current state of the game, but... I miss most beautiful looking wearable items, which unfortunately are RVR sets .. Not many people have those sets now and warband looks for me somewhat less impressive comparing to old screenshots :) There is (in my opinion) too much grind to obtain those sets - at least too much for me I afraid (I as play many toons, destro side only). So... pls pls pls make RVR sets more easily available for players. Make their stats lower if there is any unbalance (or make them appearance items only) but let me admire great look of those sets once again.

And please, make 'alternate appearance available' possible for all items :) Let players play with looks of their chars as freely as possible.

Are we asking for alternate appearance items be available of everything (i.e. invader, sovereign, tyrant, and what not) or make the what items are available for the current level and renown rank alternate appearance available?

I am all for making more appearance items available with respect to current gear in appropriation to current level caps. I do think a grind should be required to obtain the appearance though.

I am against the idea of having rank x characters running around in sovereign gear (an example) in t1-t3 lakes. As cool looking as they are, it would kind of ruin the tier 4 release and the release of the other gear sets (whenever they are released). Same for some PvE items. What point would there be to running dungeons if you can just buy (or PvP grind) the appearance of the piece you want?

I am for the idea (I vaguely recall seeing a thread about it several months back) of releasing gear that was NPC specific that you could not get during WAR live. For example, the Nurgle armor you can find NPC's wearing just outside of the arena on the far right side. There are lots of really cool appearance armors available that only NPC's could wear like the High Elf Phoenix Guards.

If I am not mistaken, Dev's said they had the ability to take those armors and introduce them into the game (Do not take that as a truth I am not a Dev and may be completely wrong).

Either way that is my input on the matter :]

**Edit**: I even think, if it is possible, later down the line (much later) the developers making their own content and making the rewards be those NPC armors either as actual gear or just appearances.

yes. It seems that only a few item slots got the option of alternative appearance, is this right?

I wish you could hide all items not just helm and cape.
Is this a shitpost? Let me know through personal message.

You can use any class specific items as alt appearance and in some cases items that are not class/race bound.

How you do so ? firstly make sure your main (equipped item) is bop or boe, now u need another boe or bop item in your bag aswell the item that is blank(not boe or bop) that you want to use as appearance. Drop the boe/bop item from your bag into the alt appaerance slot but DONT hit yes, then in your inventory swap the 2 items around so the blank item is now in the same bag spot the boe/bop item you dropped into the alt appearance was, then hit yes.

What's the point of alt appearance? You don't really change how you look by using alt appearance... you're just trying to fool yourself :)

Anyway to trick the game into letting you use the alternate appearance for items which don't have the option? The Frenzied/Outlaw T3 stuff looks nice on a Zealot but the game won't let you use it to customise the appearance of other items :(
