It could. If you reduced the gains to zero it would definitely reduce the number of people on the zerging side. The question is would they swap to the other side for balance or just stop playing.

And to be clear I dont change sides to fight a zerg, that would be a drop of water and do nothing. But if I am doing scenarios or T1 RvR, a single well played person can make a difference. Or if I am getting a lot of scenarios against the same groups with no healers I will swap to the other side to play a healer.

Banging my head against a zerg is not something I do as a person who only pugs in this iteration of the game. Zerging does suck, I am not saying it doesnt. But I've gotten pretty good at switching to other parts of the game if I am not having a good time in the end game blob roll.

yep its a major problem for me, if staff members are playing order toons mounted in "new special destro mounts" in the middle of IC makes me think what can they do after!???....maybe special items to offer the "friends"!!!

Staff members have friends?

We review logs for certain commands quite frequently, there's very few shenanigans we've ever had to reprimand someone over. There are very few privileges given to staff members on live servers to begin with and if you have evidence, please send me a PM. I'm very much against any staff using their position to empower themselves in game and I've deleted characters for it. Not that you guys hear about it much.

but cosmetic gears are not empower themselves. even special mount.
it's been a long time since new gear.
showcase of end gears will refresh excitement.
staffs sacrifice their playtime, there should be a way to compensate it.
cosmetic gears hurt no one.

The underdog already gets more rewards, I try to understand, why you want to boost them even more but without success. With enough coordination the underdog might lose the zone but will have much more kills than the zerg.
Warband leaders who try to defend a BO against 2 enemy warbands and getting ripped apart are the main reason the zerg gets kills.

When you want to make suggestions, think about splitting zerg instead of stopping people from playing their side. Some people stick to one side as well, they would play for nothing, which makes it a very bad suggestion.
Dying is no option.

Even numbers suck in oRvR as it leads to stalemate and 17 hours KV situations resulting in empty lakes.

AAO does not work.

The only way to fix the issue is to restrict how many players can enter RVR from each faction at a time. Suggestion is to keep the amount plus or minus 5%.
Example if there are 49 players in faction A then only 51 players max can log into faction B. If there are 100 then 96 - 105 can enter from the other side.
If there are less than 20 players in each faction (5% is less than one person) then faction population should have to be exactly even.
I think it would be better like in the beginning of WAR - you can choose only one fraction and thats it !

Disagree with for the AAO, it does work tremendously good , I saw tons of purple numbers on my screen, we did not lock the zoen but really....the purple numbers!

Its not possible to restrict people to playing one faction only.
Why, when it was on Live, which means is coded in this game too ?

Problem with zerg here is there is no better gear and stuff. On live if you have geared party + know a little how to play you can kill warband. Then you can fight heavy outnumbered and it was fun. But here when everyone have same gear you cant do it :(

And that's why Mythic had no other choice to let folks stay in T3 39rr79 max because of decked out DF/WF + LoTD exploits + ...
I hope you truly enjoyed your big fun dude as I know that many many others on the other side of the coin did NOT.
