The Bugman's / Carstien scenario pack.
So I happened across a post today about someone getting disenchanted with the whole grinding rvr thing. So I got to thinking of a new RVR option for RoR.
So my idea machine started to glow, and I thought to myself well wait .. The RoR project seems to have a life of its own now and the devs are doing an awesome job balancing the game. Long story short I was thinking of a new scenario "pack" the Bugman's/Carstien pack.
Brew Wars:
Bugman has established a brewery to provide Bugman's XXXX to the forces of order to keep up their strength and morale. The goblins however are also making a brew of their own using hops stolen from Bugman's brewery.
Uses the map for The High pass cemetery. But one objective is occupied by destro (orcs) guards and the other is occupied by order (dwarf) guards.
Players spawn in their usual points, and no award points are given for holding objectives. Instead each objective will spawn a keg bearer once ever two minutes. The keg bearers will can use the same software mechanics as the old resources bearers. They can be pathed to run to the center of the graveyard, then turn to run to the warcamp. Each keg bearer that successfully reaches your side generates 100 victory points. First team to 500 victory points wins.
The Carstien envoy: and order offensive and destro defensive scenario. Carstien the vampire has sent an envoy to meet with the beast men to heel them in under destructions banner.
This scenerio is built around the steam tank factory. A simple scenario using existing scripts for keep defense.
On the first floor of the steam tank factory is 4 beast man guards. One the second floor is a lone vampire hero (not the uber hero's we see in keeps but a hero that provides a challenge to a whole party of 6)
In this scenario destro's VP total starts at 499 and order starts at zero. No VP is awarded to either side except for the death of the Carstien envoy which awards 500 VP to order. This basically gives order 15 minutes to kill the envoy or destro wins.
Carl's Bitter xxx: this is the reverse of the Carstien envoy scenario. Taking place on the Temple of Isha map; destruction has caught Joesef Bugman's cousin Carl in a trap and its up to order to protect him from the destro forces that are trying to close the trap.
Well I have more ideas, but I don't wanna type a mega post just to have the devs or the player community go... Nope.
Oh last thing, I thought the bonus scenarios should reward the appropriate RvR coin but all a bugman/Carstien coin that could be saved up and spent at a vendor in each capital city.

In the dwarf language there are over 500 words for the concept of revenge, and only one for the concept of forgiveness.

That could be cool. Who knows on the implementationality of it(of if that is even a word), I saw azmo talking about SCs for premades/PUGs only, so I figure they have some SC stuff in the books. Switching up the SCs with different sets of objectives for the same map could be fun or a disaster... Either way it would be entertaining!

I don't know... I'm still insanely caught up in chopping and shooting destro.
