How likely (once bugs are fixed) that we could see custom content added to the game, I'd be willing to donate a considerable sum to the project if some new pve was added in the future.

Sure, the client can be altered. It's just not feasible. Also, why??...

That said, the main aim of the project is to "pick up where WAR left off" (18th dec 2013). That means the final goal would be to achieve as close as possible to how the game was originally run.

That line can be taken many ways, pick up where they left off could be just a return to what was but it could also mean that they do want to add on to the game. I personally would enjoy the idea of the game growing in content after the game is stable and everything is working. Adding things like new PvE areas, classes, races might be a start to a great thing. For instance, I would love to see the Skaven characters you could play as actually fleshed out and become a set of whole classes instead of basically new skins. I think this comes down to a question I asked my room mate, what is the role of Return of Reckoning? Is is solely to be a recreation or could it be more?

Its nice to think of stuff like that cardhitman89, but bringing WAR back to what is was is going to take a lot of time and dedication for the developers.

Having war back is going to be awesome, and I do understand that development of the server and game takes quite awhile. My concern is that after a year are people going to continue playing, after two years, after three years. The constant waring might be enough, but what if it isn't? Should this community put together a team to create new content for us?
