Dear Devs,
I would really like it if you could implement the /target command. Atm when targeting people I have to you group shortcuts, which does not work well when queuing for Scenarios or using Enemy group sorting. Implementing this command would make guardswitching and healing a lot easier
Thanks

Re: target command
Almost... too easy, some might say.
It's been brought up in the past. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it to happen.

Re: target command
Hmm... For gaurd switching I use the enemy target function. For healing, I just click on the enemy group list. Reposition the UI so it is in a convenient place.
How would /target help? Wouldn't you have to make a macro for each individual that you want to target each time?
I thought this had to do with targetting ungrouped people. target-closest or cycle enemies/friendlies gets really annoying. Not to mention it only goes out to like 85ft:(

Re: target command
For friendly group members? You can set a keybind for group member 1-6, I use ctrl+1-6. Then if you are playing in a 6 man you invite players based on rolls and importance so for instance slayer/WL/RP/WP/IB/knight(you) it's easy to remember the 1st 2 are your DPS the 1st being the squishiest and 3 and 4 are your healers 3 being the squishiest.
You can also do this in pug groups, I like to remember my default guard or defensive target then memorize the group position of 2 risky targets.

Re: target command
As I said you can basically emulate it with the groupmember targeting but in that case you have to manually sort your group every time you join a Scenario, which is pretty frustrating.
I guess if your stance on this is set then I won't push for it though

Enemy target function? Can you elaborate on thisHmm... For gaurd switching I use the enemy target function. For healing, I just click on the enemy group list. Reposition the UI so it is in a convenient place.
Yes. I play with a premade so names stay the same pretty muchHow would /target help? Wouldn't you have to make a macro for each individual that you want to target each time?
That is what I currently use but it's troubling to do when joining Scenarios since you have to make sure to all be in one group before some random joins and at the same time keep the group orderingFor friendly group members? Re: target command
In the Enemy addon, there is a way to be able to triple-click a user's name and that will apply guard to them.

Re: target command
Yea, check out some of the additional features to Enemy. You can set click-casting on your group-members, so targetting/casting at the same action, if you play with largely the same people, Enemy can make life really simple. You'll just have to mess with your UI layout a bit. It can get crammed pretty quick.

Re: target command
Is there any way to endless auto-casting a single ability? Such as heal?
Re: target command
Uh... You mean botting? Sure, there are way's. None of them allowed though... Nerfbuttons can set-up your abilities to be conditional dependant, so you can just spam 1 button and the addon takes care of the rest...Razielhell wrote:Is there any way to endless auto-casting a single ability? Edit: Actually, I have never used nerfedbuttons, this was how it was described via multiple sources.
