White Lion pet damage changes.

Ok, after the changes, the overall damage of the auto attacks seem fine, when I compare it to my own damage, but the damage of abilities seem a bit lowe in comparison. Can another White lion tell me wether he expirienced the same?
Here some screen to compare my damage to the damage the pet does when coordinated strike is used.

The orange numbers are my damage the yellow numbers that of my pet.

Can someone of the dev team confirm wether that is a bug or wether it scales like it should. And I would be most interested if someone could elaborate, how the DPS influence the abilities.

And I say it again, I am content with the overall damage of Auto Attacks here.... I just want to know wether Abilities are afected and how, as those seems kind a low damage compared to the auto attacks. So pleas refrain from pointless comparisons to squig or from saying that the overall damage should still be higher. Thanks a bunch in advance.^^

i dont think the weapon dps is modifying the base damage of the pet. either that or the style bonus is not being applied.

That could be, but the Auto Attack damage seems good now, so the first idea seems unlikly.... the second could be possible.

No pet abilities or player used pet abilities seem to scale off of pet weapon dps, only auto attacks get increased.

You can do an easy test , (resummon the pet in both instances)

1. remove gear pieces that have a similar str. of the weapon you are using and check the numbers when you send your pet out
2. remove your weapon and add back the pieces you removed in nr.1 to equialize the str. loss

The result will be , auto attack changes , ability damage stays the same.
This is the case for all pet classes i tried (squig, engi,WL) so i assume its a global thing.

If this is a bug or not , i do not know.

Also keep in mind toughness in its current state its VERY effective against pets , as per

viewtopic.php?f=52&t=16694#p183160

''The effect of Toughness is independent of any other stat and is not capped by the attacker's offensive stat. Toughness will negate attack damage down to a minimum of 1.''

This is particularily powerful against pets(as they usually have much lower offensive stat and it eats on their base damage) and even medium amounts of toughness in part due to weapon dps not contributing can negate a huge chunk of damage.

Yeah I tried a similar thing only without removing armor pieces.... will try that later. Good thinking.

TTT is pretty useless in PvP...... and its not so bad that it is unplayable anymore.... its just lets say not perfect yet so I wanted to be sure, if it is only my feeling or if it is something other people expirience also.

But thanks a lot for putting it in the bugtracker.... i just hat that thing.
