What class is underplayed/needed?
As the topic suggests, I'm curious to know which class is currently underplayed and/or needed for higher level play? Don't need input about Tier 1, just Tier 3/4. Thanks in advance.

Re: What class is underplayed/needed?
On Destro side its pretty even. I saw few magus(es?)...magis??
And WEs not that common than other melees. But Destro is pretty well rounded.
Order had and has some flucuations. For example last night (in T1) had good team balance but in higher tiers I experienced shortage of anything that is not ranged dps.

Good healers are always in demand, same goes for good tanks.
Usually there is an eternal over-abundance of people playing DPS.
Zealots are kinda rare, same with BG. Good DoKs that actually heal are rarer these days than in the past, getting nerfed drove away some players. Their future is however somewhat uncertain.

Nothing on destro is really underplayed except maybe Zealot, and there is a need for actually good healers. An unfortunate amount of them on both sides seem to be asleep most of the time or take 3 sec inbetween their actions etc.
I can tell you what is overplayed and it is Shaman. There's a dozen of them everywhere in every tier.

Re: What class is underplayed/needed?
for tanks i always see groups looking for BOs
there are already lots of chosen
and no BG but literally nobody wants a BG
and i may be alone in this but i always feel a lack of WEs
which is weird as they were everywhere on live

I think there are enough WEs, because low pop, you get low zone pop, which means less prey, which means less WE/WH hunters sneaking around.tazdingo wrote:for tanks i always see groups looking for BOs

Also, why would a party opting for a meleetrain setup choose a WE over mara or choppa? They are suboptimal for groups.
As for BGs, they much harder to play than chosen or BO. And even more if you want to become a really good BG.

Re: What class is underplayed/needed?
I agree with Taz, Black Orcs are in demand in general, i know my guild has been looking to recruit a few. Tropico is correct, we has a whole mess of Shamans though I suspect a lot of those are dps spec. If you're talk pure utility, we could always use more tanks for their guard and healers are always welcome. I play healers most of the time and it has always been easy for me to find groups and, in general, people tend to appreciate healers that heal
