Seals: How can they matter?

Seals of Retribution have no real meaning as it is right now. That's a bloody shame. Lanes get locked and ultimately reset with no consequence.
A Seal is not currency at the time; merely a stackable juju item that could really mean anything. See, the date it was acquired is lost if not carried with us in our memories.
Say for instance a great Guild Event or organized War Effort results in hard earned Seals; the joy of aquiring this particular Seal is diminished when it mingles in a stack of 20. Say video material was produced to testify to that great effort on that day; wouldn't it feel great to have that Seal to prove you were there and part of it?

To promote a little prestige around the gathering and denying of Seals, I propose adding Date of Acquisition to individual Seals.

The problem with the seals is that they are generally only won by zerging, and while that is how they are won i believe they should continue to be worthless.

I remember how i got my first seal, it was on the first days of 2017. After 4 months of brave resistance against the vile hordes of order, who only desire to doom the world in statis and decay, we managed to make a cumback right in their face. Crippling their advances one by one while diminishing their fighting strength and even gaining new "converts" who had seen the raven's right, we managed to make a push from the Black Crag to the blood-soaked valley of Kadringrad, where the shadows lie. There, the order bias was so thick you could barely breathe and the fighting was long and bloody, but after an entire day of fighting we managed to pierce the beast right in it's black heart of cold, dark, bugman's best-soaked EVIL.

Every seal after that is a reminder of our solemn duty to hold the line against these fiends, a reminder that the days of THE FALL (Geddit? because the ordies handed our asses during the fall?Har-har-har-hardy-har) will return if we do not maintain our vigilance. And we shall remember, for the sake of the brave men, women and greenskins who gave their last breath (and quite possibly shattered their keyboard on their monitor in a ragequiting fit) so that we may be the ones to reap the seed of defiance they sowed.

*insert patriotic destro anthem here*

*Insert image of Tchar'zanek in a heroic pose looking towards the sky while some destro fellows are standing around his feet, striking the same pose*

*Insert manly tears here*

So yeah...the seals have souls, they don't need timestamps.

Can't believe in this day and age we have bigots and monsters who think seals don't matter or they can't be of use to the world.

HOW DARE YOU SIR!

I will have you know that seals have been defending countries for many years and yes one might think that a fat blubbery puppy eyed gloop would have no tactical advantage to a sovereign state but YOU WOULD BE WRONG!

HERES YOUR PROOF

If we don't start showing seals respect they will align their entire race against a friendly country and we will all be doomed.

If we start ascribing meaning to them before the end game is complete then that might detract from enjoying the game.

I'm happy to wait and just see what they are going to be good for.
