What about initiative?

I know it may not be a good time to discuss this but I suppose that initiative was somewhat a thorny issue in the past.

Throughout the whole time of me playing War it was easy to notice that initiative is the most worthless stat. The greatest merit of initiative is that it reduces the chance of being critically hit. Unfortunately, this reduction's value shrinks with every point spent on it. Basically, the more you raise initiative, the less reduction you get, i.e. 60 of ini. is 20% chance to be crit. hit, 70 of ini. is 17%, 80 is 15%, 90 is 14%, 100 is 13,5%, 110 is 13,2% and so on.

What I'd like to suggest is to make the value firm or constant, so that every time you raise initiative by 10 points you will get 0,2% reduction.

What are your thoughts on this?

idk about reducing the chance to be critted, but that it increased the chance to evade rdps' attacks - that's for sure. i had a good initiative stat on my ib.

Initative was useful for tanks, 0 base crit chance at 80rr. But overall I agree that it's kinda useless. No one sane exept for high rr tanks was maxing initative.

going higher than 200 was usless in terms of crit reduction(read Mors post why), around 150 was even better, gainnig it from items was smarter)

Changing this value would not be like on retail server right? I guess we all want a exact copy of the original WAR server

I guess nobody remembers exactly how initative affected reducion but I think that Parwun is pretty correct. What I previously wrote was just to give a clue to how this worked/works. My rr 100 Blackguard (RIP) had around 310/320 initiative and I'd rather I had swapped half of it for toughness or strenght.

Of course especially a copy from the main mechanics of combat and abilities. If we all would get mounts for free I wouldn't mind but I think the main roots of stats and values in combat should not be changed

I hold the complete opposite opinion. If it can be made to work better than it did...

If you can manipulate the stats of carriers it could become a different game. Or am I missing something
