...until random crashes, DCs and other bugs are no longer a thing.
Yes - an incredibly small minority of people will use this to avoid premades/drop pops, but they do that anyway - even if it incurs a 10 minute debuff.
Yes - it could affect scenario pops if 1 or 2 people decide to leave the queue, but most people who queue for scenarios do so with the intent of, y'know, playing them.
Far too often you will be stuck in IC having to wait for someone's quitter to expire, due to them crashing randomly or some other random occurrence. Group pops are already semi-slow as it is, and this can literally make groups disband out of boredom.
Just food for thought. I dare say a lot of it is client-side and preventable, but there are still many random elements that seem out of our reach.

Re: Disable Quitter debuff temporarily...
I really appreciate the thought and intent of the suggestion. But I know for sure some NA prime Order players (Pugs & Premades) would insta walk out against certain Destro premades.

Same could be said vice versa. Don't think it's a big issue anyway since normally there's only one sc going anywayZaxxond wrote:I really appreciate the thought and intent of the suggestion. Re: Disable Quitter debuff temporarily...
Recognise that as a possibility, but: a) it happens anyway (we've had 50% of Isha/EC pops dodged by other team, or other team will just AFK, or not take pop and incur the 10min); b) it's a small price to pay if it keeps groups queuing and not dissuaded.Zaxxond wrote:I really appreciate the thought and intent of the suggestion. Re: Disable Quitter debuff temporarily...
I think the 15 min debuff should stay but only if you leave a alredy starting sc, if you just decline pop it should be 5 min imo.
This will be also a compensation for dc on pop or visual bug when you accept queue and i steas the client go in 1 min and then expire bug
Summaty
Declining queue: 5 min debuff
Exing a started sc: 15 min debuff
DC: should respawn jn sc if relog in 1 min or if sc end in 1 min you ger no debuff and you get sc rewards

Re: Disable Quitter debuff temporarily...
Game seems to have some more lag spikes than when I lasted played. But in about 20 hours of playing I nor my 2nd guy crashed once. Also I really dont wanna see this quitter go away. Many including myself when pugging would abuse it. As a premade player its also not really nice if half the enemy team leaves

Dan the "Dream Killer", You mostly 6 man it up. So you and Train Wreck won't really abuse this. Pugs and a few 6 mans (I agree with your comment on both sides) would abuse this.dansari wrote:Same could be said vice versa. If there is no penalty, how would you police it? Maybe chicken the toon for 3 min or some other in game public shaming?

I can see both sides but as past events should have taught you...if something can be abused- it will be abused. AGGRESSIVELY.
As for puggers quitting to avoid premades...they/we do have our own SC.

Already said no when it was brought up in Discord. Posting on the forums is little more than attempting a pressure tactic using community sentiment. Bad idea.
