The black orcs big cutta of dominions (I belive that's the correct name) is currently bugged in the sense that it shows the Bo holding a one handed axe instead of holding a large 2 handed sideways like the normal animation/model should be when using a 2 handed weapon
Granted the Bo cannot equip a shield or anything so it looks like their just running a one hander and being silly
For me it is a very amusing bug and so I humbly request the devs to not fix it
Please don't fix BO's big cutta of dominion model/animation

Re: Please don't fix BO's big cutta of dominion model/animat
There have been debates asking for alternate weapons or other classes appearance gear. The argument against it for me is visual identification of targets is one of wars major strengths.
In swtor for instance. See a bunch of guys in robes and you have no idea which is gonna hit you, throw rocks at you or just tank you.
In war see a big orc with a big axe dont let him hit you. Start having things like white lions hidden with some swordmasters with swords and swordmaster gear and then they leap and kill you when you. People will start gaming appearance.
The classes all had very unique appearances for that reason.

Exactly my opinion. Here I speak for me not for the teamTelen wrote:There have been debates asking for alternate weapons or other classes appearance gear. The argument against it for me is visual identification of targets is one of wars major strengths.

At some point in the game, they made (almost) every twohanded hammer unavailable for slayers (especially scenario weapons). I want twohanded hammers for slayers back!

Re: Please don't fix BO's big cutta of dominion model/animat
That'll be GW. Slayers only use axes in lore.

Only your realm can see your appearance changes. It doesnt matter if you use alternate appearance to make a BO look like an AM; in the end the other realm sees your real gear/appearance.
This means you can't disguise your rr100 as a rr40 (unless you actually use lower rr gear). Same thing with dressing up as a different class.

Pretty sure Snorri Nosebiter dual wields a hammer and an axe.Telen wrote:That'll be GW. Slayers only use axes in lore.

Alternate appearance doesn't work for the enemy realm. So this point is moot.Telen wrote:There have been debates asking for alternate weapons or other classes appearance gear. The argument against it for me is visual identification of targets is one of wars major strengths.

Id have no problem if it doesn't affect gameplay. I remember all the fuss when alt appearance was brought in and they wouldnt let the other realm see it due to gameplay effects though. Still you would need to know if pugs were tank or dps without having to ask. So no dual wield with block on. The appearance tells both sides alot.
I think the reason GW kept the classes this way was they wanted them to adhere to the tt troop types.
Normal slayers only wield axes.
Probably played towards the idea of the game being about your realm not you.

Really? Come on Telen, we both know you can recognize someone's class in 1 sec just by seeing what buffs he has on.Telen wrote:Still you would need to know if pugs were tank or dps without having to ask.
Also by name, in a community as small as WAR used to be (and RoR is way smaller).
