Hello,
Sorry for bugging not sure if this was already here posted by someone, but is there any chance to somehow change matchmaking for scenarios? So its not happening still that same premade group is always put against non premade group? you know that non premade group have no chance against them? so why not make matchmaking that premade group will be set against premade too and random/pug against random pug too so both sides have a chance to win and not autolose when you figure out you got a premade against you? i know there is one scenario every week with just random/pug setup but what about other scenarios? we want play other as well, but its not possible when single player join scenario and is still put against premade many times. It always means lose for non premade group, which is not really fair game.
Thanks for reading.

Re: Premade and non premade/pug group scenarios.
This has been discussed so many times it's pointless by now. There will always be one pug only scenario, one premade only scenario. That's what you get for playing solo, harsh but true.
Re: Premade and non premade/pug group scenarios.
You already have two options available right now to fix this problem: queue pug sc and vs no groups OR you can make your own group to fight the other group. Two easy solutions to not “autolose” as you put it.Maleus79 wrote: Tue Feb 19, 2019 11:42 pm Hello,

Re: Premade and non premade/pug group scenarios.
Which is premade only? because right now is pug/random Gates of Ekrund right? but any other scenarios most times have premades and that is not fun, if you are with pug/random teams. So you are saying people who join solo should only join current pug/random scenario and let other scenarios for premade groups only? Thanks.
Re: Premade and non premade/pug group scenarios.
Currently Caledor Woods is premade only. Every other SC besides the current pug sc (Gates of Ekrund) and the current 6v6 sc (Caledor Woods) is unregulated in group size. You queue knowing full well you can vs groups or pugs in those SCs.Maleus79 wrote: Wed Feb 20, 2019 1:07 am Which is premade only? because right now is pug/random Gates of Ekrund right? but any other scenarios most times have premades and that is not fun, if you are with pug/random teams. Re: Premade and non premade/pug group scenarios.
Que for the pug-only sc, form a grp in /5 or face the chance to encounter a premade in the other scs. That are the options you probably have ^^

At one point the 6v6 scenario would force pop for any premade groups queuing. I think this was removed in the purge last year. Might help to bring that back.

While I would support this in an ideal world, the sad reality is that forcing premades to fight when queuing will simply deter newer groups, and result in them splitting up into 3-5s/queuing pug.
I am an advocate of prem v prem, but without sufficient rewards or incentives in place to motivate newer groups to keep trying, it will simply result in fewer and fewer groups queuing in the current climate (and god knows that's the last thing we need).
I guess it boils down to this: why bother fighting LoB or Don't Panic when I can farm randoms and get the same rewards for my troubles?

Re: Premade and non premade/pug group scenarios.
Groups that don't want to 6v6 still have the choice not to queue it. If they are deterred by simply fighting another random premade then there's no hope. If they do get a fight against a group that's high ranked and more experienced, no one expects anything other than a loss.peterthepan3 wrote: Wed Feb 20, 2019 1:53 pmwalloftesqkristeva wrote: Wed Feb 20, 2019 1:46 pm At one point the 6v6 scenario would force pop for any premade groups queuing. Just seems counterintuitive to not give groups the highest chance for 6v6 if they've both chosen to queue for it.
Ofc I agree in an ideal world there's higher rewards, no guards, more 6v6 tournaments. Up to the staff to facilitate more competitive fights.

Ah my bad! I understood that you meant forcing premades to queue for the 6v6 sc; that they couldn't opt out.kristeva wrote: Wed Feb 20, 2019 6:18 pmGroups that don't want to 6v6 still have the choice not to queue it. And yeah it's a sorry state of affairs when groups aren't really interested in fighting one another (bar a handful), but it seems to be the norm based on how 'often' Isha/CW pop.
