I would like to see the turn-in for SC's be changed. I've leveled 3 characters to almost 40/40 range from strictly SC's - I've hardly been outside the city gates to actually see/do anything. Of course it isn't mandatory to sit in Altdorf, but it seems the most efficient way to both gear and to gain experience from the quest. In addition, when the Capitol City is under siege - there is no turn-in. Maybe that's the punishment for letting your faction fall to the point of defending your City, I don't know, but as someone who doesn't actively participate in Cities, the reward portion of my turn-in is no longer attainable.
I propose this: Upon completing a SC quest, you are then able to turn in the quest at any SC quest giver. I think it's important to be able to turn in a Gate of Ekrund quest to a Nordenwatch quest giver and visa-versa. This prevents the need to queue for specific SC's, thereby destroying the queue system.
I want to be able to work on professions, PQ, and the occasional roam kill, but as it stands I sit in Altdorf my entire session spamming quest turn-ins.
What do you guys think?

Re: Quest Turn-In for Scenarios
Yes please, this would make combining SC's with other leveling methods or roaming at 40 so much better. If you need the emblems for any reason it's a real feelbad moment whenever you win and can't get the quest completion due to not being in the city standing around like a muppet between pops.

Re: Quest Turn-In for Scenarios
Devs have said several times that they purpose to force ppl to stay at City to turn quests is to loners socialice with others who are standing at NPC and start to build grps to join scs...
Re: Quest Turn-In for Scenarios
Then they need to actually take 10 minutes to look at the hand in NPC in cities, literally no one is trying to group up while standing there. All attempts at getting groups happen in /5. So if that is their goal it has failed utterly and they should reconsider it as it doesn't work and makes for a bad user experience.emiliorv wrote: Wed Apr 29, 2020 9:18 am Devs have said several times that they purpose to force ppl to stay at City to turn quests is to loners socialice with others who are standing at NPC and start to build grps to join scs...

Re: Quest Turn-In for Scenarios
Well the only thing i see are a lot of people around the NPC saying and doing nothing but waiting for the next pop. LFG is mostly used for building groups so if that is or was the intention, it does not work. Allowing to turn in quests at the SC NPC who is handing the quest out would be way more enjoyable and clearly not hurting the building of groups.they purpose to force ppl to stay at City to turn quests is to loners socialice with others who are standing at NPC and start to build grps to join scs

Re: Quest Turn-In for Scenarios
I think it should be able to be turned into any WC so I can go out and play in the lakes while waiting and turn in the quest after I leave the SC. If they want to keep it disabled while your city is being sieged that's cool, but I just want to feel like I can do other things while Qung SCs and not miss out on Mark's and exp.

Re: Quest Turn-In for Scenarios
Heavily agree with this. As someone trying to get a few friends into this, I hear much more "We have to stay here to turn it in? Damn, we have to keep running from here to the vendors all the time? Ugh" and absolutely 0 "found a good group at the turn in npc!".
It's kind of punishing. We'd like to go roam and do RvR or public quests while we queue, but it simply feels much more efficient and easy to just camp that NPC and queue forever. This was amplified during the weekend scenario event. We spent days camping that NPC rather than exploring or taking part elsewhere, to maximize that reward. If anything this is enforcing isolation and separation from the community, as we'd all otherwise be taking part in the rest of the game with everyone.

Re: Quest Turn-In for Scenarios
While I don't disagree with the principle of finding people via seeing them at the turn in - but admittedly I've yet to use it.
My premades come from LFG and or being impressed with someone's ability in a SC and asking if they'd like to join up. That's what my entire friends list is filled with. Shoot - that's how I even got into a guild.
The idea behind seeing people can be met with both literally seeing pvp via SC, and keeping the gear vendors where they're at.
I don't want to come across too strong, but keeping it as is for the sole purpose of LFG is lackluster in the application of it. I wonder how much more people could find others for groups if more people were willing to PQ? How much more the economy would bloom if you had people in the world gathering/crafting/selling.
At the end of the day it's not a make or break for me, I'll still continue playing exactly how I play and enjoying each session. But the opportunity to improve the quality of life via this change is worth logging onto this forum to make a post about.
Thanks again.
