I suggest altering this such that instead of requiring a full set, any combination of the gear listed above to complete a full set counts toward this requirement.To queue up you need to have the tome unlock for any of the following sets: Sentinel, Conqueror, Dominator, Vanquisher, Oppressor or Invader.
Why?
On my R40/RR60 Mara which I hit R40 at RR50, I am currently wearing 3pc Conq / 3pc Vanq. I am unable to queue for ranked SC because I do not have a full set of either despite this combination being superior to full Conq. Meanwhile, I have 3pc of Invader sitting in the bank waiting for ~RR63 (this is pre 4 Invader defense change). In short, due to hitting RR50 before R40 and getting mostly Vanq from RvR, I'm being punished for trying to improve my gear instead of trading down to get a full set of conqueror which I will not use...
So soon I will have 3 Vanq, 3 Invader and still will not be able to queue ranked SC. I understand I will eventually get full Vanq through RNG gold bags or I could break down Vanq medals for Conqueror but these are workarounds to a broken system.
Please share your thoughts or better solutions to the problem I've presented above. Thank you!
