A stopgap to handle the item loss issue.

Let me first say that I've not consulted with any other developers before making this thread.

So, the item loss issue is getting out of hand. I don't know what the problem is so I can't even begin to fix it. I'm proposing that we do one of the following:

- Add vendors to sell Bloody gear before the server becomes empty in frustration.
- Push the level cap to 14 so that the renown vendors in Altdorf and the IC are unlocked.

As I've not spoken to anyone, I can promise nothing - I just want to see what the mood is.

Thoughts?

well, i would say add it perma. war is a pvp based game, should be balanced. there is no point into farming npcs to get an advantage.i will play vs strong players, not naked ones.

I agree with both of these solutions.

Why not push the level cap to 15, like the level cap for T1 was on live?
Dying is no option.

That'd be an option too, I guess.

I would say to push cap.

People can often cope better with gear being replaced as a part of progress than by a workaround. And people that have farmed would probably be a little grumpy if vendors where added.

Who cares if people are 'angry' if vendors are added. Most of us have at least dabbled in farming, and it's annoying when items disappear.

TBH there should just be vendors selling the bis gear so that everyone can gear up easily (including helms etc), and then just engage in PvP. Obviously a temporary thing.

I'm for pushing the cap, so we have a broad live "test" on additional abilities before T2, should be done with the fixed bolster ofc. :)

Edit: maybe it could be reverted to level 10 when T2 is live.

I believe the intention is to use old tier caps, but a temporary raise to 14 or 15 in T1 is not a violation of that.

Bolster (and item drops) are fixed in the next update.
