Apart from the known issues (like jumping out with Whirling Pin/Sticky Squigz), this morale suffers from the same problems that it had in original WAR - it has delay and does nothing to let you hit your target. Even normal running target can end up rooted too far away from you, and things get worse when the target has speed buff or jumps/falls/etc or same thing happens to you.
Is this okay? I think no, because it encourages using this interesting morale only in situations like chasing someone with zerg - who cares that you can't hit if zerg will surely do the job - while morale has much bigger potential for locking down a kiting enemy and helping your team to kill it. This is possible now, but has a pretty solid chance of leaving you standing 2 meters away from your target like an idiot.
My suggestion is to make this morale pull both tank and their target to the same spot (tank's position, for example) before rooting them.

Re: Champion's Challenge
Try jumping towards your target and using CC mid-air. I usually land in melee range. As for those self-punts, just hit your target a couple times and then, as soon as they self-punt, use CC. If you time it correctly you will trap them and they will have their self punt in CD.
TL;DR: Not really an issue.

Re: Champion's Challenge
don't see an issue with CC and whirling pin was norm their only way to get out of getting dps trained but land another cc to hold them so they can't pin even if they do they are still rooted (dont know about RoR but thats how it worked on live) i always chained Champs with whatever the cc immunity was called to leave a groups tank out of guard range and follow with a punt to their healerEvildoor wrote:Apart from the known issues (like jumping out with Whirling Pin/Sticky Squigz), this morale suffers from the same problems that it had in original WAR - it has delay and does nothing to let you hit your target. Re: Champion's Challenge
By the way, does a morale like champion's challenge overwrite one like focused mind?
Because when I popped focused mind I still got caught in champion's challenge, and don't know if that's just how it works or is that a bug on RoR?

That's what I thought as well, but I wanted to make sure because I really don't remember how that worked on live.Kaitanaroyr wrote:i believe Champs overrides FMxyeppp wrote:By the way, does a morale like champion's challenge overwrite one like focused mind?

Cool, thanks.

Re: Champion's Challenge
What is the ability to use before Champ's Challenge to where the attacker is immune to the stun?
