ROR has added the vanity pets back to the game which is great. However, vanity pets take up inventory and bank storage, and as has been brought up many times bank storage is at a premium and a lot of people are running out. Unlike armour sets, the vanity pets can only be acquired at certain times and cannot be replaced so deleting them for a temporary storage boost is not an option.
Proposed Solution
The game already has a solution for this, and that is the "Account Entitlements" option that appears in the main menu once logged in to a character. For those who don't know, in this window there are a list of items you can "claim", which puts a copy of your item in the inventory. If you lose the item or intentionally delete it then you can go back to that window and claim it again to get a new copy. Currently this is used for the bug-hunter's manticore mounts (aka the "snitch mounts"
) and I'm not sure if it's used for anything else.Please can you make it so that when someone acquires a vanity pet it is added to the "Account Entitlements" window. This means we no longer need to use up bank storage to keep them, and we will not lose these rare items if we wish to free up space. I believe the "Account Entitlements" was used for vanity pets on live, but this could be because they cost money. Obviously ROR is free, but it would still be a good use of the "Account Entitlements" page. Ideally this would be retroactively applied, meaning a scan of everyone's inventory and bank vaults for vanity pets would have to be performed to add all of the existing owned pets to the list.
Other limited event items could be added to this screen in the future, but initially the vanity pets would be a great starting point.
