Four score and seven years ago BW/Sorc used to do a lot of damage. A good counter balance for this insane damage was the blowback damage they received while blowing other people up. Now-a-days, Slayer, WL, WH?, WE? even SW (with fester) do just as much damage. The blowback dmg is "negligible" when you have dedicated healers but it adds up in most casual play.
I would like to discuss pros and cons of keeping or changing this dmg.
My suggestion would be to just cancel the dmg and keep everything else. I truly dont believe these classes will become OP because of this. But maybe we would see more solo roaming/Ranked BWs/Sorcs!

I'd rather keep the mechanics and actually make some of the skills/tactics in the trees useful.
All the 13 point skills are underwhelming and in some cases worse than a baseline skill. The skills in the destruction tree are bad. Even including skill trees there are maybe seven usable tactics in the entire kit. The defensive cooldowns are some of the worst in the game. Sure an elite player can make them good but put that same player on an mdps and they dominate. With an average player or group they are F tier.

On the other hand, there is low priority on something like this, as their rotations are working and deal sufficient damage.

I understand that things like this are low priority, but then again ALOT of players really want skills fixed/changed (rvr fixed as well) rather than new content. I love new cities and maybe i would love lotd, never tried it because of the lotd changes compared to live. Also BW does definetely have usable 13 pts skills agreed, but sorc doesnt. BB/WoP(Vot/SB as well) should also be fixed so they can proc procs, because they are delayed direct dmg not dots. There is no reason for this and again lets compare to the king of classess. BB/WoP are easily Direct Dmg more than Slayer's ID. So these small fixes are a low priority but huge amounts of players would be very happy for these "Low Priority" to be fixed. Absorb Vitality is only skill for sorc 13 pts that is okayish but def not 13 points worth. Should be Spirit dmg and 15 sec CD. If SoD was changed to be able to crit and only proc from Sorc Direct dmg without 10 second timer then it would be worth a try at least. Change CD to 10 seconds not 5 seconds if these changes happen. Oh and yes WoP/VoT should definetely proc SoD.
None of these sound like hard changes to make but i dont know anything about coding so i cant really say that with any credibility. But Ive played the game since -08 so i feel like i can make suggestions with some Credibilty=) Stil loving the game and full support to everyone who works for this Project. Praise Hail RoR Staff!
