Currently there is no mechanism to take a zone once lord dies
My suggestion builds upon the war hammer PQ system where each stage has a set time and if not completed the pq resets.
We see this with doors in keeps , all pq so a simple extension to this would be keep lords
If a lord is dead need to capture a zone in 15 minutes (maybe 20) , if this is not done the keep and lord reset.

Well currently after a keep is taken there is nothing a defending group can do this gives the side a chance to come back rather than current just delay

imo make it a hour. The time is much more cos the fight at that time is much more open and free flowing. Make it so if keep is reclaimed and all 4 bos are taken it took 5 mins otherwise 1 hour fight at zone. Imo that could bring new flavor at orvr, something new and different than the current situation

It is already hard to play healer/engineer vs choppa/marauder pull. Open field is already near unplayable if you are not in gank party/premade wb.

Mate, its not Marauder or Choppa kills you, warband do it. Against warband your skills dont matter, your gear dont matter, your existence dont matter.
Soloers are most favourite warbands target, accept that.

if you choose to solo in RoR these days ( years ago was a little different ) WB's will chase a solo player. This isnt a solo friendly unlkess u wanna play WE/WH and choose targets / hide. Like others have said, what you do means nothing when a WB gets you , ur dead.
now to OP, they did have in past a system to spawn ram after ur keep lord died BUT you had to have 2* prior to take enemy keep if you were able to hold off a zone lock. but that was all removed.

Your chance was to defend the keep lord. Why do you think you deserve any chances beyond that?

To encourage more fighting and zone coordination of course or how else do you explain requiring folks to hold multiple BOs after the keep has fallen to actually cap the zone?
I'm also fine with the zone just caps after the keep is taken. However, it is clear based on the existing mechanics that the developers don't want the fight to end after the keep has fallen. Allowing some kind of full recap/lord resurrection mechanic is the logical extension of the existing design.
Otherwise zone should just flip immediately after lord dies. Which I'm also okay with. But pick one.
