renown gained from killing smaller groups

it seems renown gained from running down smaller groups is way over the top for the effort it gives. in this clip we have 3 players ganking some poor bolster dwarf. Our groups lowest rr is 84. i dunno about the renownrank of that IB but cant be much above 40 at best i quess.
yet we get 1k rp EACH from killing him. Don't know if its bugged or what happening here. This could be the reason why plp chase soloplayers and smaller groups all the way to the next zone.

Could this be tuned down a notch, maybe taking the combined renownranks of attackers in to account when calculating renown. (this way low rr would still het renown from taking down high renown players with as groups, but not so much vice versa)

What do you think? worthy of bugtracker?

I think Ganker will never change .. They will kill all those who can kill. Essence They do not need RR or currency。This is just the player’s game style, and it has nothing to do with what rewarding

for me i will not join gank real solo play. some fake solo player ..i will gank they.

This is going a bit offtopic, i would like to pen discussion about that rp gain from ganking heavily outnumbered enemy.

but its no secret i occassionally run with guild or friends, not very often but sometimes. Duo, trio, even 12mans when we have organized event, but thats pretty much why there are guilds. Sometimes we have 1-2 well geared toons trying to rank up bolster alts etc. I doubt even my patience would last in this game for forcing myself to play 100% solo. Sometimes I even have some random ppl wiith me if they happen to ask if they can join me and theres not any soloroamers worth the effort to fight around.

Anyhows, let this be all from this and try to get back to the original topic.

Agree. I will add that in the opposite direction, reward X2 if you managed to defeat more than one opponent who attacked you. To a certain extent, this can encourage people not to form a gank group.

I think even if killing a solo gives a max of 1 rp and 1 crest, entire wbs will still chase them deep into pve for the kill. The kill itself is the goal, rather than the reward.

That increase at lowbies kills renown gain happened since abilities patch rework. Something changed at the code. Some lowbies give ridicules high amount of renown imo should be not that way
