Don't let the questing experience die!

I know many of you are committed to PvP, but that is only a fraction of a beautiful world we can explore in this game. I have been following the current broken quests for a few weeks now, and I don't think it would be that hard to fix them. Making a wolf drop the meat is probably easier than solving LoS issues. Especially since many of these quests worked a week ago. Here's a quick list:

Ostland:
Chosen - Bor Graymane doesn't drop Eye
Break on Through - Ferlangen crypt door is closed. a week ago there was a temporary door but not anymore. this quest used to work.
An Example to Follow - door to the tower is closed. a week ago it was working. this quest used to work.
Spotting Trolls - a goblin near Felde gives a quest to kill a nearby troll. a week ago it worked. then theyboth were missing. now the goblin is there and gives the quest but no troll nearby

Troll Country:
Bloodfeather - kill is counted, but Icewing Dispatch part isn't

The Blighted Isle:
Maughann's Challenge - the sister doesn't drop the sword
Leading the Way - none of the mobs drop the Narthain Gem. these same mobs didn't drop Shinies a week ago and that was fixed.
Hated Kin - spites don't drop venom
Prize of War - chest can be interacted with but the key doesn't drop/count from the named mob
Innocence Challenged - wolves don't drop meat. unicorns didn't drop hearts a week ago and that was fixed.

Chrace:
Double-Edged - word of pain spoke and speak are both marked completed but there is nobody to turn this in
Lionsbane Banner - mob doesn't drop shield
Due Recongition - councilman doesn't drop head
Deathbringer - kill is completed but Midnight Crystal doesn't drop

Barak Varr:
Shiny Bitz - door to the armory is closed. tabtargetting shows that there are mobs inside, proobably quest items as well
Bar Hoppin' - door to the inn/brewery is close. tabtargetting shows that there are mobs inside, probably quest items as well

Norsca, Nordland, Mount Bloodhorn, Ekrund and Marshes of Madness work fine. Good job on those.

Quest bugs are still bugs, and should go on the bugtracker. Make each one a separate issue with what the problem is.

No, this is just a feedback in the Feedback Forum. So that people can see them all in one place and anyone with the freetime, account and knowledge of the Bugtracker site can actually post them there. Believe me, I won't have any sleepless nights if the devs decide not to give a damn about any of these, but I "suggest" otherwise. In the Suggestion Forum.

If you would like to actually assist, posting these to the bugtracker gets the job done. That's what our devs use to work through issues. If you just want to talk about these problems, feel free.

The focus for server development at this time, and for the forseeable future is RvR. PvE aspects are fixed when necessary. I would not expect Quest XP to be a priority at all for the time being.

How is one supposed to gain levels through RvR? Does RvR give major XP or something?

A lvl 1 is useless in RvR. Actually you're pretty useless until you have a mount, and can move between objectives more swiftly.

The technical workings of RvR are so minuscule in comparison to the PVE aspects of the game, one would think more time could be spent on fixing PVE.

I do understand that they're extremely short handed and unless you've got a millionaire in your pocket, short funded as well.

There also really needs to be a server in the US.

Perhaps there needs to be a Kickstarter or Patreon program started. Hell, even 5 or 10 thousand dollars would help.

Problem is that if dev accept money from players there will be legal problems, the only thing that makes this server/ this project legal is that there "is no money" in it. And neither GW or EA are known to be lenient with their ip...

I assumed it was legal :(

If there won't be any major cash injections, then sadly this great project won't get nearly as far as it could.

RvR being the focus is definitely understood.

Still sad that the only route to level would be grinding mobs outside of any rvr action or scenario pops. For those two, you need to log in at certain hours.

Peak times are certainly odd, as I've observed we have two: the Europeans and the Americans.
