pvp feed back

hey just wanted to give some feedback from a new player perspective. as a new player getting killed in a scenario in a knockdown isn't going to get too many players to stick around. playing a level 17 shaman spec for heal and def mostly. getting dropped in a knockdown by a wl doesn't really give me a good outlook to keep playing. I would have hundreds of hours of the pretty much the same till i'm level 40 and rank 80 till this isn't a common thing ? in my opinion putting level 16 through 39 in the same bracket is rough. i'm guessing I got dropped mostly due to renown level difference . leveling is slow also i think, if it takes super long to level and get renown levels then more people will be put off. just my thoughts

It's because medium armored healers were hard to kill being double guarded in ranked scenarios. They decided to reduce armor tallies quite significantly across the board. And more recently reduced armor pots . So everything now is very squishy. It wasn't always like this but I don't think things will change in the foreseeable future. Shamans do have the option of running toughness/wounds as that plays into most of their gear stats and a heal buff in later levels. But a WL will still kill you only a little slower.

WL is not even the worst. ever came across 1-3 WH?

if you dont have guard or some allies near you, you are pretty much cooked as a shaman against WL/WH. both have just insane damage spikes, its almost illegal.

they even buffed WH recently
keep it green

Can you pls link your specc both RR and Mastery.
Surviving as a lil shaman around pugs demand a lot from you. Youll need to be very aware of where you position yourself. If you are to far back, youll be a target. If youre to close to the enemy fronline, you are a target. If youre to far on the side, you are a target. You will also have to learn to see who are the threats, learn how far WL for example need to ponce you etc. Playing with pugs will offer very little suport, like prehots, guard, buffs etc. No offense, its the reason why they are called pugs. You need to get your detaunt ready, you can even run the tactic if you feel like its needed. It is difficult survive alone against a rly good dps, esp if they got some range support and you kinda get none. Make sure you use pots proper, like armor and have enough wounds. So you can survive a KD. Then you prob should use your healing pots, even absorb. Get your detaunt up. Keep your hots up at all time if possible, its a little ticking ensurance.
Aoe KB is fine to use aswell if it will give you a breather, but Detaunt is most important. And kite into ppl from your team, but not the enemy dmg ofc.
