XP off
Any plans at this stage or in the future to allow players to either /xp off or use some in game mechanic to turn off XP ?

Re: XP off
Bad idea.
Personally, I don't want to see 21lvl premades dominating all t2 long for months.

Re: XP off
i sure hope so!
Some of you guys may not realize it but many tier stability depends on it, otherwise the bulk of player base will all end up in one (the highest) tier.

No its not further more no exp books ruined tier balance with super twinks and was added only beacuse of how badly t4 was with rr100s
here in ror the lvl cap raises slowly enough that you can easily reach the lvl cap

Re: XP off
I don't think it's needed *for now*. Once t4/lv40 is released...well then it probably should be introduced for the newer players.
Re: XP off
No it did not. The books have nothing to do with imbalance in fact it is actually way better for balance to have them because more ppl will get the proper gear for their level, instead of ending up in the next tier looking like a wet cat.Coryphaus wrote:navis wrote:i sure hope so!

Re: XP off
I'd like to see an 'XP off' option as well, but since it can cause issues as noted above... As an alternative, I'd propose: no experience from PvE/quests and XP penalty for RvR, or just XP penalty for all source of XP. Preferably a very high penalty, since the point would be to severely limit the XP gain. That way potential twinks will eventually reach higher tiers (the more they RvR, the faster), but it will still allow people to linger in the tier they want, gather crafting materials, accumulate gear, fill up Influence bars, do PvE without fear of outlevelling their current tier, kill lair bosses and whatever else one would want this feature for.
