Increase keep defense rewards
Just defended a keep while getting 500 kills in the process. Only received 2k exp and 400 renown for it, where as when I did close to the same taking a keep I received 290k exp.

YES PLEASE
Make it go up like when you take a keep, but maybe something 60% of that so assaulting a keep is still worth it!
I was at that defense, Mandreds right? About an hour fight, would have awarded way more exp/rr.

Would rather wait until T3 hits to implement something like this, otherwise people may actually start complaining about another realm's increased renown/xp gain in the T2 lakes due to how easy it is for some of us.... *cough* MANDREDS *cough*

If you killed 500 people when you defended a keep then you got more than 400 renown. Even if every kill got you 1 renown you would have gotten 500 renown. As for the tick, usually there are defense ticks while you fight going on, you probably didn't notice them.Proculus wrote:Just defended a keep while getting 500 kills in the process. Also I highly doubt you killed 500 people, maybe you accounted to like 5 kills out of those 500.

I think they should NOT increase...
When I play my BW... all I see is WB's bunkering all the time inside a keep.
Instead of going outside to fight, always running back to keep...
Very boring when all people just want to sit at keep.

They are trying to get the rewards and generally the entire game as close to live as possible. I pushed a keep and the entire server exploded i didn't complain i just new the rampant ddos and new players joining would lead to me not being able to play i think the fact you could even play in a keep was a victory let alone the rewards.

RP gains seem fine to me. If defensive ticks scaled off skirmish size the capture rewards need to be toned down. If anything item drops(tokens/weird) seem too low. Once tier 3 is released the obliterator set will be far and away obsolete before anyone gets enough tokens to buy it at current token drop rates.

I agree. So far it seems the ticks are reasonable, if not actually a little high compared to live considering we get AAO now. I don't remember leveling quite that easy in live, though that might be partially cause the population density is pretty good in this private server whereas it was trash on live half the time. Other than that, it seems close to what I can remember. Last time I played live it was all super high level (rr80-100) play as my Chosen so I don't recall the lower tiers as easily.TooGraphic wrote:RP gains seem fine to me. The medallion/emblem drop rates in orvr seem to be either non existent or too slow. Igot ONE scout medallion in more than two weeks of open rvr and dozens of keep takes. I knew they had removed them, but didn't they bring it back again? And if they removed it, then why did i get a medallion? I can only assume the drop rates are just way too low. Something isn't right, I remember getting them far more frequently on live even with the washy player population.
