And I've gotten in countless SCs like that (No matter what faction). I've also gotten in countless SCs where that was the case for the enemy (No matter what faction). I've also got in countless SCs where it was full team vs full team.FordTimelord wrote:I have queued and gotten into SC's that are 7 or 8 minutes into the match. I think "people are waiting 2 minutes to join the match" is just an adorable theory. I'm sorry if I implied that people are not gearing up honestly. The next time I am in a SC getting unmercifully pummelled 2 to 1, I'll know that it has nothing to do with server population, it's simply the fault of all those lazy order players.TenTonHammer wrote:except that there cannot be a population imbalance in scs since in the end it is always 12v12 or in BFP 18v18
the problem is people not choosing to join till the full 2 mins up
so it STARTS imbalanced but it ENDS balanced
You're seeing a pattern where none exists. And thanks for the condescending attitude.
I actually kinda like that idea. Althought having to wait even longer for a SC to start once you are inside, would suck. It's for the greater good, I suppose? o.Oth3gatekeeper wrote: This is a BIG part of the problem, I really do like the "give me a minute" option because sometimes you just dont have enough time to get out of combat, or get out of RvR combat or maybe you are trying to turn in a WAR quest etc etc.
I think the best option would be to allow someone to say "give me a minute" but it doesnt extend the timer. So you cant wait until the clock hits :01 then press that to get an extra minute.
It should be 3 options:
1) Join Now
2) Yes, but give me a minute
3) Leave.
If you press 1 - you join.
If you press 3 - you leave.
If you press 2- it now gives you the same smaller window that shows two options:
"Join Now"
"Leave"
However the only difference is that it DOESNT extend the timer (you still get the same 1:00 from when it popped) and ALSO it "auto-accepts" once the timer has counted down - rather than "auto-decline" if that makes sense.
THEN do not start the SC until 1:00 as passed (rather than :30) so what this does is ensure anyone who is going to join at the very latest would join just as the SC starts.
