Most of the ORVR guys aren't really interested in strategy or the impact on the long term enjoyment of the game. ORVR is about zerging. They basically only care about their WB size and capping several flags at once. It's the reason they ignore small groups in the open since they are only interested in capturing a keep as soon as possible. This is usually the reason they have to team up with 1-2 WB worth of players. You often see these guys complaining about small groups not doing what they are being told in t4 spam chat. Their group set ups are only optimal if they have several other groups supporting them so it's much easier to roam around with large warbands and fight little resistance. Constantly ****ing about people who enjoy other aspects of the game and thumbing your nose at them...clearly makes them want to help. I was kicked out of a WB because I capped a BO too early. No one said anything in advance and some asshat cussed me out in tells then booted me out of the WB instead of acting like an adult. If you want to bring people together...don't treat them like crap. /steps off soapbox
Nice try except non it is true.
"Most of the ORVR guys aren't really interested in strategy or the impact on the long term enjoyment of the game"
No we don't find any enjoyment in playing this game (Sarcasm if you didn't get it)
"ORVR is about zerging"
ORVR is about outsmarting the enemy and using strategy to split their forces up so you don't have to deal with a Zerg

What does warband size mather if you need to cap multiple flags at once???
"This is usually the reason they have to team up with 1-2 WB worth of players"
2-4" groups sorry.
"You often see these guys complaining about small groups not doing what they are being told in t4 spam chat"
And then they show up at the keep seiges and leach bags even tho they didn't do anything to help out

You make optimized groups baseed on the situation, as a warband in ORVR you prepare to face anything from 12-40 people at once. Ever heard of the tearm, don't bring a knife to a gunfight. Same thing aplies to SC's You don't bring AoE spec into scenario coz then the other side have a clear advantage.

There's no such thing as a safe envoirment in ORVR again nothing stops the other side from bringing twice your numbers.
Except maybe server capacity.
