Re: What about initiative?
I don't mean that I'd support anything dramatic, I'm just saying that I don't buy into the "keep the game 100% exactly as it was on live" mindset. Live wasn't perfect.

A working copy of WAR first, and then (maybe) devs will think about ways to improve it, without altering the game client...

Re: What about initiative?
As much as it's relevant to debate the aspects of particular features and abilities within the game itself.
Essentially, what it boils down to, is the intention to have the game functioning in a similar manner as it was back in December 2014. That's not to say that we will religiously work/aim towards that exact image of the game. If there is within reason (and for the most part there is) for certain abilities, mechanics and other features that should be adjusted in the fairness of balance, it can be done.
It's just too early to even debate talking on the utopian outcome of the game. First, let's get this **** working. Then we can argue about what isn't fair
Patience!

Re: What about initiative?
As Elven have said.
Just imagine how each side and every class want their side/class buffed and opposite side/class nerfed. Good intentions have paved decline and doom of many "non-official" game servers.

Re: What about initiative?
Maybe later (far, far in the future
) initiative could give also a minor reduce on incoming critdamage.
