I have never said that Engi AoE DMG is better or on par with Magus AoE DMG, I pointed out the fact that they have access to several other utility tools that makes them really good as well in WBs.
Well played I don't think the two careers are miles apart as the majority of Order Priders do believe they are, both AoE specs are focused around magic damage.
Sure there are attacks that the engi has that gets hard countered by armor, but at the same time Magus lacks auto-attacks and have to deal with careers with high Disrupt chance, while there's very few careers with a innate high dodge chance.
Magus as well (unless it was hotfixed) has to be careful where to put down AoE as WP has Exalted Defenses and can accidentally give WP free +20% healing, while engi is more fire and forget.
Both careers have their strengths and weaknesses. Except you don't see any destro weaknesses

The Engi's main spammable AOE hits armor and because of this they will typically hit for much less. Engi autoattacks are also an insignificant part of AOE DPS.

Very few healers go past 750 will and almost everyone has 300+ Initiative, vs. high Will targets that's a 16-17% difference in defense, vs everything else a Magus will generally have an easier time hitting things.

spammable doesn't mean you should spam it, might be why your engi performs poorly.

That's not how the evasion from stats work, also check gear sets + tactics/abilities.

Order from the point of view of a small scale and game experience on both sides of the conflict.
1. Almost impossible to find anyone for duo-trio-6man.
On Destro, no problem.
2. The tragic proportion of DPS vs Tanks vs Healers. Additionally, 70% -80% is RDPS.
3. Tragic proportion of aoe builds even in SC, especially BW. On destro, this problem exists to a lesser extent. Just some useless marauders and choppas play like that.
I don't understand it at all. Aoe only makes sense in the zerg (warbands).
4. Hardly any SM use a stolen from Chosen Crippling Striks. BTW order always cried that CS is OP now they have it and hardly anyone uses it (Talons).

I guess the main problem is playing solo or in warbands.
The side with the two most op abilities (rampage, WoDS) + much better heal output (15% ktb + 20% wp) should win most fights.
This is my experience from the point of view of several 80+ destro chars and several 70+ order chars.

asw is popular gimp who get direct and nondirect nerfs, msh is best spec in the game.
shama the best solo roam class in the game and can be speced into healer to play sc etc etc.

Asked one of the engi's you mentioned, if they use blunderbus a lot, I got the answer "ah, nope, just maybe sometimes to get a last hit)"

Also, nice that you complain about cherry picking, then yourself pick a STAGE 3 CHAMPION Magus in the most CRAMPED up place in WAR, to prove that Engi uses Blunderbus spam.

Let me know what you think the optimal AOE Engi rotation is. AOE DoT and then literally doing nothing between CDs/DoT runs?

I mentioned stage 3 because it'd be easier for you to follow, but he's doing the same thing throughout the entire video.

As a new player on order side, I don't even know how to exp. In scenarios, usually a group of destros made of 3 tanks and 3 heals, and order almost never have such. And there are no premades either, I read / write in the lfg - nothing. I don’t know is it online and population disbalance issue, but at least for the sake of normal exping, it would be worth to prohibit making premades before the 40 cr and make work on matchmaking system, becouse now this is a one-sided game on t2-t3.
