even Chinesehero noticed this three years ago and posted about it,
no action taken


Still waiting and hoping for some equality
We are also looking into this one, its case is different since we cannot change the terrain. Moving a flag in Gromril left or right is easy, however moving the flags in Phoenix's case is harder.

We'll adjust it in the most optimal way dont worry.

The thing is, what route did you take from the destro camp? Did you go over the cliff or did you go thru the tunnel? Because the tunnel is faster, and my experience in playing this from destro side is that most people don't take the tunnel...

Well, on my Chosen I normally take the tunnel and most others take the cliff. I usually get to the bridge a couple of seconds before everyone else. If he took the cliff route (and he doesn't say if he did or not), then the distance would work out to be equal for both sides if destro takes the tunnel - which would make destro not getting to the flag a PEBKAC problem, rather than a balance problem...

+1. Too many scenarios are decided in the first minute, and if you happen to have a few late joiners you're going to be down half the score by the time they join and you eventually fight back and gain the upper hand.
I think this is a good idea even if the flags get fixed

Thargrimm is correct, the path taken from the spawn point is an important consideration in how quickly one can reach the central flag. From the Order point of view that consideration is discussed here:
