Punts and pulls are more of a "relocating" crowd control. Instant cast abilities can still be used in the air which means you are not disabled. Taunt has interrupt built into it, maybe Focused Mind should make you immune to taunt aswell?
No it is not enough. FM needs to enable the caster to be able to free-cast for 10 seconds. There is only a couple of classes that can survive on instant casts, others are heavily reliant on kiting and long 3 second casts. This is not about not having the correct specs, either.
Punts and pulls have more effect than on live (another debate of AoR vs RoR) concerning having casts cancelled due to being punted or pulled. Channels were also allowed to continue while being pulled/punted. Punts and pulls are behaving very strongly in RoR as they are coveted for the hard-interrupt effect against casters.
Punts and pulls on RoR will negate a casters cast OR channel by using a non-morale punt or pull. This is different from AoR. Choppa AOE pull is the biggest offender here (and slayer but I don't play Destruction) as this non-morale ability does this with aoe, far worse than single target punt/pull.
The way it worked on AoR was that FM would not be affected by non-moral punts or pulls. This is consistent with RoR overall balance IMHO. Allowing for this gives the distinction and differentiation that Moral abilities have over non-moral abilities, across the board. (eg. Stacking stats)
On the wording - Yes you guys are correct on the wording, but that this is one of those abilities which did not match it's effect word-for-word. That is a known - Players you used to run FM for defense will remember this.
I can remember quite clearly that FM would cause a marauder pull tentacle to collapse on the ground - this animation is still missing from RoR.
Champions Challenge is supposed to affect FM as it is a moral. My proposal is to stop non-morals from affecting FM and this still leaves plenty of options left to mess with casters.
So, in my summary, I give 2-3 examples where these abilities are behaving differently than they used to and the balancing effect here in RoR is cumulative. Cloths have even more disadvantage verse the melee train.
