game has too much power creep already. if they want to release them as cosmetics using the unused skins and add them as a city win/ranked reward that could be cool but as an actual power progression item i think it is a bad idea with how the game is right now.

maybe in the distant future it could be feasible when gear is hopefully entirely restructured to make vanq an entry level set, invader to 40/55 with massive cost reductions to all sets/game wide increase to renown and other sets are introduced like the tunnels/be set, LV set, TOVL set.

currently it would just perpetuate the issue of new players and more casual players being farmed in to the ground by veterans with a massive gear advantage as well as perpetuate the current TTK problem/burst problem we are seeing.
