Re: ???
Yeah I learned that the hard way this weekend lol it was actually unplayable in SC. People say Destro has similar premades but I haven't seen it yet but to be fair I also only played for 4 days total so I'm hoping when I get unbanned I see that.kleinbuchstabe wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 2:59 pm You cant complain about people building groups or warbands. Thats what this game is about! its a group play oriented game. Nad its defenetly not a fraction thing. When pugs are running around solo, and decide to not build a group... well, its obvious that a group will kill them easyly, but thats a consequence, and defenetly not an issue of unfair playing.
The solution is to build a group, or a warband. Join open warbands, or use the /5 LFG channel to find other players. And still, you cant expect to beat a Guild warband wich is used to play together with a random pug WB. Thats also a matter of gear and skill. Playing solo pvp is generaly never a good idea in this game. You can do it, but expect that you are going to die many times whenever jo met a group or warband.
Same thing for SC. Its always better to build up a group instead of joining solo. Your chance to win will rise drasticaly. That is how this game is designed.
Re: ???
When I come back to this game in 2 weeks I'll figure out how to leave the starter guild and join a real guild. I need to escape the noob-hell for sure. The game itself is fine I actually enjoy the pvp but without a premade the coordination gap is huge. Like people are saying in post, solo pvp is not ideal. It was meant to be played as group. I got a lot of good feedback from this I appreciate you and everyone.gersy wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 3:16 pm both sides premade, both sides blob, etc. there is no order this or destro that. just depends who is playing at the time and on which side. most premades you fighting are probably in reality not very good and could be beaten or gone even with if you make your own.
there is NO faction bias amongst developers or GMs or whatever. the game is not balanced or designed like that. to think otherwise is just placing blame on your own inadequacy. it simply does not exist. winrates, playrates, etc. tend to show this. on average it is a very 50/50 game. the perceived issues are usually entirely a player based thing about who is playing when/where. yes, it is true that sometimes there are 3 order premades are queueing and destro only have 1-2, maybe even 0 if you're really unlucky. but the opposite also happens just as often in fact.
it is rather infrequent that premades intentionally collude with one another to stack SCs as well, and if they do it's usually the noob-y ones that can only beat up on solo queue pugs but will instantly get destroyed by the real 6man groups out there if they ever faced them in a 6v6 or SC. the truly strong 6mans in fact will queue on the lesser side on purpose to avoid stacking with lesser premades and to get better fights and farm the lesser premades. i know these things for a fact because my entire RoR gameplay is playing SC/city/roam in coordinated environments where we intentionally "selfnerf" by playing in situations which are unfavorable. very large part of this is swapping back and forth to the outnumbered side for greater rewards and to intentionally go against greater enemy numbers to sharpen skills and prevail in 6v12, 12v24 situations in SCs or open world roaming.
solution: pull your shorts up, join a guild, make friends, make premades with those friends, increase your skill and knowledge of the game, meet new people by queueing up and having good fights, befriend them, play with them, establish a network. climb the ladder of skill/knowledge/networking. if you climb enough, you will never have these views again, you'll have plenty of people to play with and form your own premades/roam groups and you will be able to stomp almost anyone.
break the cycle, escape the noob-hell, create a better mentality for improvement, become stronger, win more.
Re: ???
All WE/WHs are Tankshredders to some degree feinted Position + Agonizing Wounds = 100% armor ignore for 10 seconds, sounds lazy but very effective.
Warhammer Return of Reckoning
Verey / Ashoris / Devoras
WaR -dead-
Erengrad - Order - Frostbringer - Devoras

Re: ???
I did come across Feinted Position while leveling I just had no clue what abilities were optimal for DPS rotation with it. This gives me clarity I'll have to try it out.

I don't know what kind of chat logs the mods and devs have access to, but OP should have been banned for using the N-word and other slurs in chat yesterday.
Also, I wouldn't take anything they say all that seriously, because they love to suicide into the pack based on my experience playing against them in t1.

Re: ???
I got banned almost 4 days ago lol that's fake news. I also don't suicide into the pack, I spawncamp to try and get isolated picks because premades stay closely knit nearly all match. I do once in a while go near the pack stealthed to laugh at people for cowering away to a large group instead of fighting me. You get people who get to around half health and then panic run to their group begging for heals so they can taunt after they send like 5 people to rescue them. It's kind of sad to see nowadays.Kyovarde wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2024 2:38 am I don't know what kind of chat logs the mods and devs have access to, but OP should have been banned for using the N-word and other slurs in chat yesterday.

Now if you did see me caught near your pack it was probably because someone had high enough perception to see me cloaked while I was laughing at people. At the time I probably didn't see any other option of gameplay when everyone was so tightly packed.
I go for isolation picks either by stealthing near spawn to try and catch someone riding alone before they merge into their moshpit or I try to catch someone calling their horse after all the others have rode off. It's like literally the ONLY windows of opportunity I've come across. If people aren't mispositioning there's really nothing much else I can do by myself.
I'm not sure what you mean by T1 also, you mean like Nordland overworld? I'm talking about Center of Pragg. I actually don't even remember who you were lol

Also I read your other 5 posts on the forums and you LITERALLY agree with what I'm saying.Kyovarde wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2024 2:38 am I don't know what kind of chat logs the mods and devs have access to, but OP should have been banned for using the N-word and other slurs in chat yesterday.

You mention:
"-Stealth classes are significantly weaker. If you want to PvP as a stealth character go play WoW or SWTOR. WE/WH are great for small scale PvP or 1v1, but are borderline useless in the big blobs of RvR. The closest thing you get to an escape ability is a Mastery target drop + 50% run speed boost."
And that's actually what I was running on my build lol I was using Mastery target drop to escape. It also felt pointless even going near the cancerous blobs of both RvR and Pragg SC, to the point where some kid named Krimson would yell at me, Yriko, and Deadman for leaving the blob to go have fun getting isolated picks near enemy spawn.
"Witch Elf and Witch Hunter can work, but I wouldn't recommend either because they can be punished hard and they don't bring much value to the zerg relative to other classes."
Yeah pretty much you have to be a braindead AoE healer or AoE DPS class to be useful in zergs, it's why I'm anti-zerg; fights are way less technical and far more sloppy/boring in large-scale fights.
Like bro what do you mean?? We literally agree on the same issues, I'm not even 3 days into this game and I already immediately noticed...
