In my opinion, the developers only looked at the numerical damage output and not the overall combat power. Therefore, they only made adjustments to reduce the damage output of BW/SORC in a short-sighted way. Currently, they are:

High Risk, High Return
(However, the amount of damage dealt is not particularly high compared to other classes.)

SH, for example, is on the opposing side and can deal sufficient damage at both long and close range, and has plenty of crowd control abilities. At close range, it is tough and also has healing abilities and ways to escape.it`s LowRisk , HighReturn.

The Willpower debuff being tied to the most important spell in your rotation, makes it, so often the most important spell in the rotation is disrupted. And you are just restarting your attempts and waiting for BB/WoP to come back off cooldown to try again.

Then when it connects, remaining spells are not likely to all go through despite the willpower debuffed target due to the "new" strikethrough rule of you can only bypass a maximum of hall of a target's defence via your strikethrough. And landing 4-7 spells in a timestamp is just not realistic these days.

Anadecdotial, but when I returned to my fireclown today and did the Live event quest-chain. I was kinda baffled to see how often just pve mobs below my level would disrupt my spells while doing isle of the dead PQs. I cant even begin to imagine how ST sorcs feel..
Chasing targets in rvr, especially healers, its pretty common to see Ignite/chillwin just take 3 attempts to even land on a target. And thats without Hold the Line stacks being included

Another thing that hasn't been mentioned is that dodge and disrupt work in a 360 degree radius. Imagine the crying if parry (or block!) worked that way...

Correct me if Im wrong but I think vs ranged dps the block is 360 degrees. Ive seen it a lot that a tank walks or runs away and blocks from behind. 100% NOT lag. It feels broken to be honest. Same with the blocking/parrying while being knocked down.

And not to forget that our dots can be cleansed. Good groups cleanse their mdps immediately. There is just no way of putting pressure on them with the resists and cleansing going on. I don't see other rdps classes having that much of an issue with it.

I was expecting sork community atleast say something, but looks like it take years for people to realise consequences of patches. I was lvling sork that moment, and disrupt patch felt like horse kiked st sork in head. Last few lvl of renown ive lvled in hybrid aoe. Combined with that, theirs trees/tactics is a mess, their dmg output is near what dps sham can do and less than sh, class in total ruin. Add to that nerfs of armor so ensure u will get near true dmg after armorshred. Its like 1800 with pot or something. On any healer/tank your combo prob will fail multiple times, any rdps have concealment to disrupt everything u have, when u have parody of that morale, slays have immortality morale, hats have shroud, so your main targets is prob guarded lions pumped by bilion backline heals and bws. But we can fart echo of power for like 1k crit corp damage after disrupt! When sw hit 1.3k spirals on the move with 1 sec cast time, and dots ticking 1k.

After all that brilliant decisions that nuked working class into joke we just discuss with friends if its manageble to make sork even worce with rework. Atm "meta" doesn't make any sense to me, and i dont belive we will see balance. Imagine come to destro and lvl 2h bg sork and dps dok, well i hit that jackpot. Now im proudly wear bikini on pukish overbuffed WE, that have all tools in world that sork can only dream of. Yey...

I wonder if planned range dps revamp will be announced before implementation with potential subject to change.

But now you have all DElfs in collection.

Will see what devs will change with rDPS and renown rework. Probably stolen +15% crit damage will be given back.
