In my opinion, the developers only looked at the numerical damage output and not the overall combat power. Therefore, they only made adjustments to reduce the damage output of BW/SORC in a short-sighted way. Currently, they are:
High Risk, High Return
(However, the amount of damage dealt is not particularly high compared to other classes.)
SH, for example, is on the opposing side and can deal sufficient damage at both long and close range, and has plenty of crowd control abilities. At close range, it is tough and also has healing abilities and ways to escape.it`s LowRisk , HighReturn.
BW/Sorc - very high disrupt rates

Re: BW/Sorc - very high disrupt rates
The Willpower debuff being tied to the most important spell in your rotation, makes it, so often the most important spell in the rotation is disrupted. And you are just restarting your attempts and waiting for BB/WoP to come back off cooldown to try again.
Then when it connects, remaining spells are not likely to all go through despite the willpower debuffed target due to the "new" strikethrough rule of you can only bypass a maximum of hall of a target's defence via your strikethrough. And landing 4-7 spells in a timestamp is just not realistic these days.
Anadecdotial, but when I returned to my fireclown today and did the Live event quest-chain. I was kinda baffled to see how often just pve mobs below my level would disrupt my spells while doing isle of the dead PQs. I cant even begin to imagine how ST sorcs feel..
Chasing targets in rvr, especially healers, its pretty common to see Ignite/chillwin just take 3 attempts to even land on a target. And thats without Hold the Line stacks being included

Another thing that hasn't been mentioned is that dodge and disrupt work in a 360 degree radius. Imagine the crying if parry (or block!) worked that way...

Correct me if Im wrong but I think vs ranged dps the block is 360 degrees. Ive seen it a lot that a tank walks or runs away and blocks from behind. 100% NOT lag. It feels broken to be honest. Same with the blocking/parrying while being knocked down.gisborne wrote: Thu Jun 18, 2026 3:48 am Another thing that hasn't been mentioned is that dodge and disrupt work in a 360 degree radius.
