As Farrul- order WL player- admits here, currently WL dmg is just ridiculous. A wl is able to solo burst even a player in a defensive spec, without needing any kind of a preparation- the only class in the game capable of doing so. Bw/sorc- a supposedly burst classes- need a long telegraphed rotation which can be cleansed, wl needs just to press 3 buttons. More so, on top, pounce gives wl an amazing mobility- most cloth classes have no counterplay to wl just jumping to them and killing them in a kd.

It is realistically just a harassment of any cloth player on destro side, wl is currently amazingly broken- as even players on order side admit- it can also be seen by just how many order side play wl. It is amazing how long this been going on, lot of cloth destro players quit the game just because WL current broken OP state makes it unplayable for them.

More so, destro side there is no class that is anywhere near close in terms of godlike burst and mobility. And even if WL is outplayed, he can just put the snare pet on the other side and run away, with most destro classes having no options of catching him- once again, without a mirror on destro side.

I suggest to lower the WL burst by 30-40%, to change the WL from amazingly OP to just a good dps, comparable to other dps in the game, and to stop the harassment of the cloth players which just leads to people quitting the game.

And here is another order player, which is very fine with nerfing any abilities which he considers OP destro side, but once there is a suggestion to finally balance class which can currently just harass destro cloth players into quitting the game, considers it to be trolling.

With all due respect, wl is a strong burster, but the claims you make are just wrong, a good wl can burst down every bad dps without knowledge or spend anything in defense.

A def/regn speced enemy dps or not will give the wl a fight, and depending on skill win or lose the fight.

With WL you can kill fast, no doubt, but if you are not able to butst the target down, you will have a hard time trying to kill it due to ap problems.

WL is strong against weak enemys, but hard to play against people now what they do and especially know how to counter the pet.

No own KD/disarm/silence, the complete burst damage, pull all depends on a totally bugged pet.

Not sure if you want to prove something with this thread after this post from you and just want a "counter strike" against the secret order movement do destroy destro.

Edit: With troll posts like this and pure "I don't give anything about balance, just nerf the others"-attitude we fast forward this game downhill. If suggestions are pure based on emotions after getting killed, and everyone starts to talk about this, people shouldn't complain about the directions the game goes.

If there is no valid, balanced discussion around these topics, where should devs take the input from? There can be no trust in anything somebody is writing in this threads.

It is interesting how in the very same post by Farrul which I quoted he says how he can kill most def specced dps on his wL, and yet once it comes to balancing the broken class, suddenly it changes to "a def/regn speced enemy dps or not will give the wl a fight". Anything to defend a broken class?

Except that most destro cloth wearers don't actually have the tools to counter the pet, leading right back to "dead in kd with no option of counterplay".

And it is amazing how you consider suggestions to nerf destro morals which are less effective than many non moral abilities as just fine, but once there is a suggestion to balance an OP broken class which has a free hand harassing a large part of destro population, is a tinfoil hat and "counter strike".

What more proof you need, than WL players themselves posting about how they can kill defensively specced players with a burst? Like the very post which I linked in the OP. Not to mention the numbers of order players currently playing the class, despite the supposedly broken pet.

Until now I thought i know something about lions, but never thought I need gear and ap pots to kill something...

The tools you need to counter the pet is keyboard/mouse, more game specific snare, cc or just the ability to kill it within few seconds.

No idea where you find me saying to nerf a morale, all i said was it is not true that shaman m1 is weak

Since WL players themselves saying that they can kill def specced toons with a burst apparently isn't enough for you, feel free to look at killboard, and at the WL kills and numbers.
