The problem with you (and others like you) is that you want to play one aspect of the game that MOSTLY ppl dont enjoy or dont want to play....low pop play that kind of SC, so you want force to everyone to play your game linking other game rewards to ranked scs...

HEY i like PQ´s...but mostly ppl don´t so lets force them to play MY game... competent players MUST participate in all aspects of the game...soo if you want to equip sovereign must participate in 10 PQs every week... looks fair...
That is what "we" are doing. Doing Gunbad with your beloved PQ's. Almost nobody needs redeye.
Making a PQ-prerequisite for lost-vale gear sounds perfectly fine. And people as you call "like me" will do it.
Now you want to wear best RvR gear, and feeling offended by a suggestion to use most competitive PvP scenarios to be able to wear just ring of the best PvP sets in game. Like 1 scenario a day. I don't get it.
SC´s is not RVR...so why i need to make SC to get/use RvR gear?

Popperz, your sugested solution is really selfish and bad.
Imagine the situation pre population BOOM, where you has to wait 10-30 minutes for a single SC to pop. The situation now is a paradise, compared to what it was befor.
And "progression stagnation which is the main concepts of MMORPG". Yea, it is the concept for EVERY OTHER MMORPG but not for a WAR (RoR).
This is not a WoW. People in top gear still plays here, because they like the RvR concept, community, warhammer universe and the freedom to do, what they want.

You argument is contradicting the measure. If something becomes "relevant and desired" you will get pop in 2 min.
You get no pop, because there is no reward for sc's. Characters in invader+ don't need sc weapons or oppressor.

People may get offended that something they grinded for in cities is taken from them unless they play sc's.
The solution could be to make new jewelry, which lasts only while you play scenarios. If you don't it vanishes. Same as event trinkets.

But it does not solve the stagnation of the "capped" characters. Making changes with warlord/sov jewelry in a similar manner as sentinel jewelry is not selfish or bad. It will "force" the maxed characters to do something to be maxed.

Ranked sc giving BiS rewards is against the "ranked concept itself => Ranked SCs was born because high skilled players needed a plataform to match ones against others. In the moment that those SCs bring any kind of BiS reward ppl will grind it to get the reward and finally you will get ranked SCs plenty of ppl with no clue of competitive gameplay, and who dont mind the "competitive scene"...only want the reward...

After that point (where the "competitive scene" was totally ruined) the "competitive players" will start the complain again to get a plataform for their competitive matchs...that point was passed some moths ago...

Strange. I got scenarios in 30sec max in these days, events or not. Veterans with invader+ still play SCs.
(I have met lots of them).
Off course, they allready have all sc weapons and sets and still plays SC. Why they do that?

RoR team invested quite some time into MMR. Nobody forbids to make double pre-requisite on item. (f.e. 5 sc's per week and MMR>X). After several weeks the system and matchmaking would be great. Try now to have MMR > 1.7k with 100+ matches.

The topic relates to Ranked scenarios. If it wasn't for the event by MaxHayman they were dead for weeks since the cities were introduced.
